Basic Concepts
The Weincloud Dashboard service is built around three core concepts: Data Source, Dashboard Project, and Alarm. They connect data from HMI devices, turn that data into visualizations, and provide real-time notification when the data becomes abnormal, respectively.
Data Source
Data Source is the data bridge between HMI devices and the dashboard. Users add data source tags on the dashboard, then synchronize and pair them with the corresponding device addresses in an EasyBuilder Pro project. Once the HMI connects to Weincloud, it uploads data that is then displayed on the Data Source page.
For details on adding tags, data types, and history logging, see Data Source.
Dashboard Project
A Dashboard Project is the workspace where users design monitoring screens. Users can choose chart widgets, colors, and layouts to turn tags defined in Data Source into customized visualizations.
For details on creating, editing, and managing project permissions, see Dashboard Project.
Alarm
The Alarm feature lets you configure monitoring rules for Data Source tags. When a tag value meets or triggers the configured condition, the Alarm Display widget on the dashboard triggers an alarm, and the alarm history remains available on the same page for review.
For details on configuring alarm rules and trigger conditions, see Alarm.
